Street Team Marketing Representative
Location: Seattle

Summary
Zipcar Street Marketing Representatives are the public face of the Zipcar brand and report to the Regional Marketing Coordinator. This position is requires approachable, clever, and fun individuals who can effectively communicate the Zipcar message to a variety of different people.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Educates members of the public about Zipcar by engaging people, distributing marketing materials, and signing new members
- Performs event set-up and break-down and associated tasks
- May be required to wear Zip gear
Qualifications
The successful candidate must have the following experience, skills, and education:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Performance or similar experience with street promotions, a plus
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and to carry collateral materials and displays
- Ability to confidently approach members of the public
- Basic computer skills
- Able to stand for extended periods of time
- Valid state-issued driver's license
- Must pass Zipcar driving history requirements
- Interpersonal skills—the individual maintains confidentiality, remains open to others' ideas and exhibits willingness to try new things
- Oral communication—the individual speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations and demonstrates group presentation skills
- Written communication—the individual edits work for spelling and grammar, presents numerical data effectively and is able to read and interpret written information
- Adaptability—the individual adapts to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events
- Dependability—the individual is consistently at work and on time, follows instructions, responds to management direction and solicits feedback to improve performance
