Zipcar, the world's largest car-sharing company, is a proud supporter of WGBH and the communities it serves. This year Zipcar continues its mission to revolutionize urban transportation, and has donated three (3) $500 gift certificates to the 43rd Annual WGBH Auction. Zipcars live in neighborhoods all over the Boston area and can be reserved by the hour or day. Gas, insurance and 180 miles per day are included. There are more than 20 makes and models to choose from from MINI Coopers to hybrids to BMWs, and Zipcars can be found in more than 50 cities through North America and the UK. How soon can I drive?
As soon as you're approved and you get your Zipcard (usually 1-3 days if you pick it up at the office; 3-7 by mail). Some out-of-state licenses may take a little longer. See details.
