a Zipcar member requiring the use of hand controls to operate a vehicle will be reasonably accommodated. Zipcar requires at least 7 days notice from the start time of the reservation in regions that currently do not have hand control equipped vehicles and 24 hours notice from the start time of the reservation for regions that already have hand control equipped vehicles. This will allow Zipcar staff to make reasonable accommodations. Notice must be given by phone to a live representative at the local office or at 1-866-4ZIPCAR (voice mails are not acceptable). Disabled Zipcar members may request cars equipped with hand controls. The hand controls that Zipcar uses are push/pull hand controls manufactured by Automobility Manufacturing.
