The typical time from when you apply to when you receive your Zipcard in the mail is 3 to 7 days. If you want to drive sooner, you can choose to pick up your Zipcard at your local office, instead of waiting to receive it in the mail. (Make sure to choose this option on your application.) That way, you can get behind the wheel as soon as your application is approved. Most are approved within a few hours, but depending on where you're licensed, it may take longer.
