Do Zipcars have automatic or standard transmissions?
All Zipcars in the US and Canada have automatic transmissions. Whew, right?
Some of our newer Zipcars have what's called a tiptronic transmission. This allows you to manually shift gears without the use of a clutch. When you reserve a car, you'll get some special instructions if your Zipcar has this type of transmission.
