Living near the Metro is great, but sometimes it just doesn't work for me. I used to hassle my friends for late-night rides or help with grocery runs. Now when I need to reach that area of town Metro doesn't cover or carry more stuff than I can push through the turnstiles, I turn to Zipcar. Zipcar allows me the flexibility of having a car when I need it without the expense of buying and maintaining one. I get the best of both worlds, and my friends don't duck my calls any more.
