Whatever the job is, whether it's catering for 25, delivering product to the local farmers market, or picking up supplies, there's a Zipcar that can accommodate the job within a couple minutes' walk. As a small business owner, Zipcar helps me manage my transportation costs. No longer do I pay for insurance, maintenance, or gasoline. More importantly, I don't have to worry about it. Every year, the work-a-thon involves about 2,500 volunteers doing basic "sprucing up" activities in DC public schools. To help organize this event, I have to visit the schools interested in participating and identify potential projects. That's a lot of traveling all over town, and Zipcar helps me get there.
