Our members' safety is our number one priority. We're in close contact with Toyota on all safety-related recalls, and will pull any impacted cars from our fleet immediately. (If you see a Zipcar available for reservation, it has not been impacted by the recall or it's been fixed). If you have questions about your Zipcar reservation, please contact Zipcar Member Services at 866.4.ZIPCAR (866.494.7227). For more information on the Toyota recall, visit toyota.com/recall. Zipcar has 30 different makes and models, so Zipsters have plenty of other options to choose from.
Update on the 2009-2010 Matrix: Repairs are in progress, and many of the impacted cars are back on the road after being verified by Toyota. The remainder of the recalled 2009-2010 Matrix Zipcars are expected to be back in action by mid-February.
Update on the 2010 Prius: Toyota announced a recall of 2010 Prius cars, which make up less than 1% of Zipcar's fleet. These cars will not be available for reservation until they've been fixed by Toyota. |

We've got a new way for folks to share the fun places
they go in their Zipcars. Want in? All you have to do is bring along a camera
or camera phone and snap some pictures or shoot a video of your next Ziptrip.
(You don't have to be Annie Leibovitz or James Cameron; just capture the
moment.) Become a fan of Zipcar on Facebook and you can post your photo
or video for a chance to be our Ziptrip of the Week. Every Friday this winter,
we'll announce a new Ziptrip of the Week winner on Facebook. So
swing by, get some cool ideas for Ziptrips and post your own for a chance to
be crowned best o' the week.

| It's a tough time of year, what with
navigating sudden storms, giant snow banks and nasty traffic snarls. So give yourself
extra time to get around. If you're running late, you can text us to see if the
car's available longer and extend your reservation. (See if you're signed up for text alerts.) To help you deal with the deep-freeze, we've stocked
Zipcars with ice scrapers and some have snow shovels, too. If the ice scraper
is missing, the washer fluid is low or anything else is amiss, give our Member
Service pals a call at 866.4ZIPCAR (866.494.7227). They're here for you, 24/7.
Hang in there. Convertible season will be here before you know it.

Remember you're not all alone when you're out there in
a Zipcar. If you're confused, have questions or just want some reassurance
that there's good in the universe, reach for the Zipcar Co-Pilot! It's always
there for you, right in the glove box. (Can it breathe in there? Gosh, we hope
so.)
Open it up anytime you have a question during your reservation. You'll
find tips on how to use the gas card, ways to get help if you're involved in a
fender-bender or what to do if your space is taken. You're the hero of this
journey. Consider the Zipcar Co-Pilot your trusty sidekick.

It's been way too long since we've gotten together and had a drink. Join us for a members-only Happy Hour on Thursday, February 11 from 5-7 PM at Easy Street Saloon (downtown, in the Oxford One at 301 Grant St.). Help yourself to a couple of complimentary cocktails and some tasty appetizers. Since Valentine's Day is almost here, bring your sweetheart by and have them sign up for Zipcar. You'll each get $75 in driving credit.* It doesn't even have to be your sweetheart. A friend, family member or co-worker will do.
Oh, and all members will have the chance to spin our prize wheel to win some more driving credit and other Zipcar prizes! (It's just like Wheel of Fortune, sort of.) february's zipster of the month: jen s.

| Jen S. is our February Zipster of the Month. She's living the car-free lifestyle in Northside and has been a member since October 2008. Her favorite Zipcar is Mazda Matthys who lives on Arch St. behind the National Aviary. Jen uses her Zipcars for a little bit of everything, but she especially enjoys taking them to visit the family.
