Members can get reminders about their Zipcar reservation right on their mobile phone. The crowd favorite is the alert that lets you know when your reservation is about to end, and if the car is available for extension. There are several different text alerts available, which members can opt-in to on our website.

How to Opt-In
To opt-in or subscribe to Zipcar alerts, you will need to be a Zipcar member. Members can click here or sign in at Zipcar.com, then navigate to the "contact me" page (choose "me" from the "my stuff" menu, then click the "contact me" tab).
We will lead you through the process of activating your phone and opting-in: 1. provide your mobile phone number on our website; 2. agree to the terms and conditions for Zipcar alerts; 3. receive a text message from us; 4. reply from your mobile phone to confirm. Next, you choose which text alerts you want to receive, then click SAVE.
How to Opt-Out
You can opt-out of Zipcar alerts by texting STOP, END, QUIT, CANCEL or UNSUBSCRIBE to 74657 from your mobile. You can also opt-out by visiting the "contact me" page on our website and changing your text messaging preferences.
How to Get Help or Support
To get help, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or call our toll free number at 1‑866‑4ZIPCAR. From your mobile phone, you can request our contact information at any time by texting the word HELP to 74657.
You can also text HELP EXT for instructions on how to request an extension via text message.
