Zipcar and Zimride
Car sharing has met up with ride sharing! Zipcar members can now post their reservations on Zimride, the wildly popular carpooling community.
Here's how it works. First, make your reservation at zipcar.com. On your reservation confirmation page, you'll have the option to share your ride. We'll send your reservation to the Zimride site where you can choose your preferences and post your ride.
New to Zimride? Check out their website at zimride.com or the Zimride Facebook application.
Remember that only Zipcar members are allowed to drive Zipcars. So unless your passenger is a fellow Zipster, please keep them out of the driver's seat.
