Update on the Amtrak Guest Rewards Zipcar program
We’ve decided to end one of our Zipcar member offers. As of April 15, 2011, we will no longer be rewarding Amtrak Guest Rewards points for each Zipcar dollar spent. Amtrak has been a great partner over the years, and we appreciate your loyalty to our program with them, but we’ve decided to end this offer in order to focus on broader initiatives that will allow us to benefit more of our members.
But the good news is, every single Zipcar reservation you complete from now through April 15, 2011 will count toward your Amtrak Guest Rewards points*! The program will continue to work the same way it always has – for every dollar you spend with Zipcar, you earn one Amtrak Guest Rewards point, no action needed.
All of our other Zipsters member benefits remain in place, including several national ones in addition to local perks by city. (Discounts on theater, gyms, hotels, coffee, museums, movies and art houses -- oh my!) To check out member offers near you, select your city below:

*Note: only Zipcar members who had registered their Amtrak Guest Rewards number previous to March 23, 2011 are eligible to earn Amtrak Guest Rewards points through April 15, 2011.
** Missing Amtrak Guest Rewards points? No worries – shoot us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org by June 15, 2011 with your Amtrak Guest Rewards number, your Zipcard number, and the Zipcar reservations that are missing Amtrak Guest Rewards points. We’ll be happy to look into things for you. Should you discover missing points after June 15, 2011, please call Amtrak Guest Rewards at 800.307.5000. They will award points at their discretion.
