Under VW badge there is an electric switch which will release the boot.
Driver's side door arm rest, underneath by the pocket on the door, there is a small back switch which will release the fuel cap, There is no external release.
For a manual transmission, depress the clutch and press the start button (on the left of the steering wheel).
Keeping your foot on the brake, lift and pull up on the handbrake while the button is depressed and release down. To engage, simply pull up on the lever for about 3 clicks.
Depress the clutch and wiggle the steering wheel whilst turning the key.
These are electric, use the switch located on the driver’s door and ensure that the correct mirror is being adjusted by flicking the toggle switch left or right before adjusting with the directional pad.
To switch headlights/parking lights on use the twist switch located on the right hand side of the steering wheel just below the A/C vent. Turn signals and high beam are operated via stalk on the left hand side of the steering wheel.
To operate the windscreen wipers, use the lever to the right of the steering wheel. Push the lever up to engage the wipers and further up for faster speeds.
