Zipcar Christmas Bookings

 

Zipcar is available throughout the Christmas period whether for Roundtrip or Flex bookings. To make sure you get the vehicle closest to home, book early to avoid missing out. Flex cars will be available on the day and can be reserved for free up to 15 minutes before you need the car. 

Over the busy Christmas period, from 21st December 2020 to 3rd January 2021, inclusive, peak rates will apply. All bookings made in this period will be charged at weekend rates. We'll honour any existing reservation at the price shown when booked however if you choose to change your reservation, you may receive a price increase. Remember you can always sort by price to find the best deal.

Open up the app, search for the time and dates you need the vehicle. Once you've found what you need, book the car and you will be able to see your booking in the trips section at the bottom of your screen.

When you're ready to drive you can locate and unlock the car using your phone.

Booking a Flex vehicle

Booking a Flex vehicle

You can reserve a Flex car up to 15 minutes before you need it, so it's great for those last minute trips or when your local Roundtrip car isn't available. Prices start from £0.31/min, £14/hour.

To book a Flex, open up the app, select the Zipcar logo on the top right hand corner of the map screen and select 'Flex'. You should be able to see all the Flex vehicles in your local area, providing you're within the Zipzone, one of our Flex boroughs. You can take the car wherever you need to be, but you need to make sure you end your trip inside the Zipzone in an approved parking space.

How much does it cost to rent a Zipcar over Christmas?

From 21st December 2020 to 3rd January 2021, inclusive, peak weekend rates apply and there is an increase by £10/day. All bookings made in this period will be charged at weekend rates. Existing reservations will be honoured at the price shown when booked however if you change your reservation, you may receive a price increase.
