You only need to be 18+ to join. Members age 18-20 can use a dedicated group of Zipcars that live on campus. Members age 21+ also have access to thousands of Zipcars all around the world. Find cars on or around the UCLA campus.
*To qualify for the UCLA Transportation Account you must be an alternative commute program member and fit the following criteria: 1) You cannot have a valid UCLA parking permit. 2) Your employment status must be at 40% or higher by the university. Upon approval of your membership you will receive 8 free hours of Zipcar driving a month subsidized by the UCLA Transportation.
Should you need more than eight hours of Zipcar usage per month, we encourage you to apply for a personal account. In order to protect the interests of the program, those who exceed their eight hour limit will be billed by UCLA Transportation.
