Unique to me (the Corsa-e!)

We currently have two styles of Corsa-e in our fleet that have slightly different gear sticks. See below for images and an explanation of them both.

To drive apply the foot brake, and push the gear switch down to drive, and push it up to reverse.

If in doubt, follow the instructions shown on the dashboard.

To put the vehicle in park, press the 'P' button on the right of the switch, and ensure the handbrake button is also applied.

To drive, press the UNLOCK button on the side, and ensure the foot brake is applied at the same time. You can then change through reverse, neutral and drive as with automatic cars.
 
If in doubt, follow the instructions shown on the dashboard.
 
When you park the vehicle, please always make sure that you press the 'P' button at the top of the lever.

Helpful Tips for the Corsa-e

How do I start the Corsa-e?  

All the Corsa-es are automatic and keyless. But you still need to get the key out of the glovebox and safely store it on the central partition. Ensure the car is in ‘P’ for park on the gearstick, put your foot on the foot brake and press the ‘START’ button to the left of the steering wheel. The dashboard will light up and will show ‘READY’ in the bottom left corner. 

How to put the car into drive, reverse and park?

Apply the brake pedal, press UNLOCK on the gear stick, then shift into gear. For reverse, please choose gear stick position with R.

How to adjust the wing mirrors? 

The mirrors are adjusted using a joystick positioned above the window switches in the driver's door. The joystick can be twisted to adjust the left and right mirrors, then simply pushed to move the mirror in the corresponding direction. 

How to use the headlights and turn signals?

Using the left lever, push up and down to activate the turn signals. The headlights are operated to the right of the steering wheel, twisting the dial to the right for the main headlights. 

How do I release the boot?

To release the boot, simply press the release button on the boot.

How to use the windscreen wipers? 

To operate the windscreen wipers, use the lever to the right of the steering wheel. Push the lever up to engage the wipers and further up for faster speeds.

How to release the bonnet? 

The bonnet is released by pulling forward the vertical lever located on the left-hand side of the passenger foot well. Once released, the bonnet is opened by sliding 2-3 fingers under the front edge and lifting this lever (the black part), situated in the center of the bonnet.
