Are there any restrictions on where the vans can go?
It's a member’s responsibility to always obey the Highway Code when driving any of our vehicles, which includes any signage warning against restrictions on vehicle dimensions or weight. The Gross Vehicle Weight of our VW Transporters is 2.8 tonnes and the dimensions of the full vehicle are 489cm (L) x 224.2cm (W) x 196.9cm (H). As the vehicles weight is over 2 tonnes, it is restricted from travelling through some areas, most notably the Rotherhithe Tunnel in London, and failure to obey any restrictions will result in a Penalty Charge Notice.”
