How do you unlock your van?
You can unlock the car through the app. Find your reservation in the app and then click on 'unlock'. You can also use a Zipcard. If you have one of these, simply place the card on the windscreen below the light on the driver’s side and the car will open. Once you're in the car the keys will be in the glove box.
How much is it to hire a Zipvan?
Prices start from £10 an hour and £89 for the day.

What size is a Zipvan?
The VW Transporters are approximately 190cm (W) x 490cm (L) x 199cm (H). The approximate loading dimensions are: 235cm (L) x 148cm (W) x 130cm (H)
What age can you rent a Zipvan?
You can rent a van from the age of 23 upwards. If you are on a business or university membership, you will be able to drive a van regardless of age.
How Zipcar works
Join online, and once you’re a member you’ll have access to vans, cars and luxury vehicles too. There's two types of journeys: get there and back in a van or car with Roundtrip, or take a one-way car with Zipcar Flex. Just download the app, reserve and drive.

Apply online with a picture of your driving licence at the ready. As soon as you’re approved, you’re good to go.
Book and drive
Use our app to book vans or cars by the hour or day - whenever you need them. Choose from a Roundtrip car or van.
Return
When you’re done, return your Roundtrip vehicle to the same dedicated bay you got it from. Pop the keys in the glovebox and lock via the app.
