The Bronx Zoo is the largest metropolitan zoo in the United States and has been a cultural icon for nearly 120 years. For more information on hours, ticketing and exhibits, visit the Zoo's website here.
Wave Hill is a 28-acre public garden and cultural center in the Bronx overlooking the Hudson River and Palisades. Year-round, they offer a large variety of activities ranging from garden and birding walks, to music performances and workshops! See all the fun events planned for this month here.
If you love contemporary art, look no further than The Bronx Museum of the Arts. Home to a wide array of intriguing art, the Museum also hosts interactive events throughout the year. Though the New York Botanical Garden is stunning in the Spring and Summer, there's plenty to do in the colder months. Since 1891, the Garden has served as a living museum and education institution.
