Love Blooms
Clare founded Love Blooms back in 2011 after leaving a career in fashion buying, and the business has truly been flourishing since. As a creative floral design studio, they cover all manner of occasions from weddings, and corporate events to large production photoshoots. We have enjoyed watching Love Blooms grow and their London-based shop, website and Instagram are all beautiful to visit!
Local Greens
Jean Bergin is the co-founder of Local Greens, a South London non-profit born in 2011, to supply seasonal, sustainable veg from UK farmers to the local community. She credits the invaluable support from women in similar businesses to helping her launch her own. Local Greens is proud to lead the way towards a fairer and better food system for all.
Women's Inclusive Team
Women's Inclusive Team is a charity run by women for women. Founded in 2005 to encourage messy play amongst mothers and their young children, WIT soon expanded its services with women’s empowerment projects, advice and guidance sessions on housing, raising children, running a household, community integration and learning English, as well as mental health courses and workshops for BAME women.
WIT also supports young people by creating opportunities and sessions to inspire them to reach their potential. When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, WIT expanded its services even more and opened up a food bank, and community kitchen and started a telephone befriending service to help vulnerable people in East London.
Doughlicious
Kathryn Bricken, a mum of three and now entrepreneur set up Doughlicious in 2014 to share her perfected American-style cookies made with the finest natural ingredients with the rest of the UK. Every cookie dough flavour is 100% gluten-free, and produced in their West London factory powered by renewable energy. Doughlicious cookies are better for you and for the planet and of course, they're delicious - worthy of your next shopping list!
Little Village
Sophia Parker founded Little Village in 2016, to support families with babies and children under five living in poverty across London. Now run by Sophie Livingstone, they operate a baby bank network, collecting, sorting, and passing on pre-loved clothes and equipment. Since launching Little Village has fulfilled more than 32,000 requests for support, working toward their vision of every child under five having the start in life they deserve.
What'syourcosy
What'syourcosy is a London-based online interior and lifestyle store specialising in high-quality Swedish design that adds that little bit extra to your home. Started in 2020 by Emelie, a Swede turned Londoner, What'syourcosy was a dream grown from a lifelong passion for Swedish design which was finally realised whilst being at home after the arrival of her second baby.
Absolute Flowers and Home
Absolute Flowers and Home is the brainchild of Hayley Newstead. Established in 2001, and is one of the most celebrated luxury British florists and renowned for its hand-tied bouquets, events, interiors and shop.
