You can find our Zipcar VW Transporter vans to rent anywhere in London. Here is some technical knowledge you might need before you rent a van:

The Gross Vehicle Weight of our VW Transporters is 2.8 tonnes.
The dimensions of the full vehicle are 489cm (L) x 224.2cm (W) x 196.9cm (H).
The approximate loading dimensions of the VW Transporter are 235cm (L) x 148cm (W) x 130cm (H).

As the weight of the vehicle is over 2 tonnes, it is restricted from travelling through some areas, most notably the Rotherhithe Tunnel in London, and failure to obey any restrictions will result in a Penalty Charge Notice.

Zipcar's vans are only available to drive manually. However, our car fleet does have both automatic and manual cars. Find out more about all of our vehicles here.

Currently, Zipcar van hire services are only available as Roundtrip where you pick it up from an exact location and return at the same spot in the car club parking space. Our one-way service, Flex, is only available for our cars. Learn more about Flex here.
