If you are a Zipcar member, you can rent a car anytime. If you are not yet a member, you can join online for free! Start by picking up a plan that best suits your needs - Basic, Smart or Plus. After you send your application, we check your driving record and verify your identity. This normally takes a few hours, but in some cases can take a couple of days. International drivers can apply too. Once a member, you can enjoy the flexibility of last-minute car rentals starting from 32p per minute.

There is no price difference between hiring a Zipcar now and booking in advance. The cost of renting a Zipcar varies depending on the plan you're on, city you're in and vehicle you're driving. After you pick the plan that best works for you, simply select from thousands of cars or vans readily available and pay by the minute, hour or day. We take care of fuel, insurance and the Congestion Charge too. Zipcar rates start from £6/hour for Roundtrip and from £14/hour for Flex. For vans, prices start from £10/hour, and £100/day.
