Return the car to its same spot and end your trip on the Zipcar app.
Our community rules
Follow these rules to have great trips and avoid fees.
Charge up or fill up
Driving an EV? Recharge with the charge card in the visor—please return with the battery at 20% or more.
Gas car? Return it with the same fuel level as the start of your trip. And make sure it’s above ¼ tank to avoid a $30 fee.
Be back on time
Return to the car’s home location on time. Late returns will be charged for the extra time, plus a late fee.
Clean up before you go
No smoking, please. Don’t forget your stuff or trash. And keep pets in carriers to avoid a $50+ fee.
