Zipcar is CoMo accredited

CoMoUK is the national organisation for shared transport, a charity for promoting its social, economic and environmental benefits. Zipcar works collaboratively with CoMo UK to create cleaner, greener cities for everybody. Sharing is caring, and together we want people to experience an alternative and convenient way of transportation.

CoMo UK Accreditation

Zipcar is an accredited member of CoMo UK, which means that we adhere to CoMo UK’s standards for operating our business. These standards include:

Safety, ensuring that our vehicles meet roadworthy and other safety standards
Customer service, including availability to respond to customer calls 24/7
Data security, such as protecting our customers information, and environmental standards.

CoMo UK's Role

CoMoUK plays a key role in the UK’s move towards more shared mobility such as car, bike and scooter sharing and on demand buses. They support their members and the wider public by undertaking a range of activities including research to provide evidence of social and environmental benefits of car sharing, and accreditation to ensure high standards are set for the sector.
