Charging details for the VW e-Golf
If you're taking the VW e-Golf on a longer trip, here are some details for charging the car:
The VW e-Golf has a DC CCS charging port for rapid chargers. To access the charging port, unlock the car using the key and press the charging port on the rear of the driver's side - where the petrol cap is! The DC CCS port is there, and may require you to take the cap off the bottom of the charge port.
Once you've set up the charger and plugged the car in, a small yellow light will illuminate on the dashboard to show it is charging. There is also a light next to the charging port, with a sticker next to it to explain what each colour means.
