Zipcar and Uber have teamed up to provide a convenient, flexible vehicle solution for Uber Driver Partners in Boston. This new partnership unlocks the opportunity for Zipcar to offer a new use-case for its vehicles and lowers the barrier for prospective Uber drivers to try out the service – they do not need to invest in purchasing or leasing a vehicle nor worry about gas, insurance, maintenance, mileage or general wear and tear on a vehicle.

Current or prospective Uber drivers can now reserve a Zipcar by the hour for the times they want to drive and vehicles are located in dedicated parking spaces. Drivers simply pick-up and bring back the vehicle to a dedicated parking space when they are done.
